KFC recipe + crumbing mixture healthier version
As I am sharing my nutrition knowledge with the amazing women that are doing the Cooking Club, I want to show you how some simple additions to the pantry or fridge can make life easier, as well as healthier!
So, a few years ago hubby and I went on the search for the secret herbs and spices from KFC and created a mixture that we keep in a glass jar in the pantry.
Over the years we have tweaked it slightly and recently added some crumbing to it so we can easily make up a batch of healthy (KFC) crumbed chicken. We also use this crumbing mixture to white fish pieces and add a touch of our home made Dukkah. Its so friken yummy and when other people make it they are blown away with all the yummy flavours!
This mixture goes into a jar and then just add a scoop to chicken or fish as needed
