The way I work with clients is unique and different to other health professionals. I don’t teach my clients to calorie count or diet. Restrictions generally result in unhealthy relationships with food.
When we deprive ourselves of food, we really confuse our mind and body, especially as food is our fuel source.
It is common for women especially to use food as a comfort source, when we are stressed, upset, overwhelmed, or just feel blah in general!
I teach my clients to work on mindset to break the unhealthy habits, then provide knowledge on nutrition and food types.
